We require you to answer a set of questions when posting an application in our forum. The more additional information you give us, the better.
Check the previous applications here on the forum. It is easy to see which ones were considered good applications and which ones poor from the comments posted by officers and others. The more information you give us and the more effort you put into your application the better.
In an attempt to combat bots posting spam onto the public parts of the forum, usernames are regularly checked and deleted. Please follow these rules when registering a username on the forum to post an application:- Make sure your username is the same as your character name (usernames are checked against the armoury and if there isnt a match it will be deleted as a way of preventing forum spam).
- Dont register a username until you are ready to post your application. Users who havent posted an application within 2 to 3 days of registering will be deleted - again to help combat forum spam.
If you have any problems registering a username or posting an application please contact an officer in-game to discuss.

3. What glyphs do you use and why have you chosen them ?
4. What is your raiding experience? (We check the Armoury to see your achievements)
5. Your current and previous guilds.
6. How did you hear of Omen?
7. What do you expect and what are you looking for in Omen?
8. Who do you know in the guild?
9. What is your age, gender and location?
10. What days and time ranges do you usually play and when can you attend raids?
11. Can you confirm that you have a stable, fast internet connection that enables you raid?
12. Link to a recent
WWS-log (or other parser),
this will greatly benefit your application!
In addition to our questionaire we would also like to bring your attention to the following;
Omen is a raiding guild - we expect our raiders to maximize their chars as much as possible for raiding purposes.
This means;
- Specs optimised for raiding PVE content.
- Best enchants on gear (including rep ones like the shoulder enchant from Therezane rep for example).
- Best gems available suited for your class/spec.
- PVE Gear Set.
- Professions that aid in maximising your char for raiding purposes (Blacksmithing for extra gear sockets or Enchanting for ring enchants for example).
